Terms of Service

Buzzquiz is a browser-based multiplayer pub quiz where all questions are automatically generated. The service is available at buzzquiz.app and requires no installation or account.

Buzzquiz is operated by Buzzquiz. A German tax identification number (Steuernummer) has been applied for. These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

Buzzquiz is intended for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or use the service in a way that violates these terms or applicable law.

Access to a paid quiz requires a valid quiz code. Codes are purchased via Stripe and delivered by email after successful payment. All listed prices include VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Quiz codes are: • Single-use: a code is permanently consumed after activation • Non-transferable: codes are tied to the purchase and may not be resold • Non-refundable after delivery: see the Right of Withdrawal section

Under Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code, the right of withdrawal is excluded for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium once delivery has begun with the consumer's explicit prior consent.

By ordering a quiz code you explicitly agree to immediate digital delivery and waive your right of withdrawal upon delivery of the code.

All quiz questions are automatically generated. While we strive for accuracy and appropriateness, they may contain errors, outdated information, or unintentionally inappropriate content.

Buzzquiz is not liable for factual inaccuracies, incompleteness or offensive content in automatically generated questions. As host you can manually mark answers as correct or incorrect.

Buzzquiz's liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant quiz code, unless the damage results from intent or gross negligence. Buzzquiz is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, lost revenue or reputational harm.

Buzzquiz is intended for users aged 16 and over. Users aged 13 to 15 may use Buzzquiz only with demonstrable parental or guardian consent. Use by children under 13 is not permitted.

We strive for the highest possible availability of Buzzquiz but offer no uptime guarantee or service level agreement (SLA). Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where possible. Buzzquiz is not liable for damages arising from unavailability or maintenance.

All rights to the Buzzquiz software, interface, branding, and design belong to Buzzquiz unless explicitly stated otherwise. Automatically generated quiz questions are not claimed as copyrighted works of Buzzquiz.

Buzzquiz reserves the right to amend these terms. Material changes will be announced at least 14 days in advance at buzzquiz.app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
